Highland Park Fire

Highland Park Fire Edition is een gelimiteerde single malt whisky, uitgebracht in 2016 als eerbetoon aan de vuurreuzen uit de Noorse mythologie. Deze 15 jaar oude expressie rijpte volledig op refill portvaten — een primeur voor Highland Park — wat zorgt voor een natuurlijke roodachtige tint en een uitgesproken karakter.

De whisky opent met aroma’s van rood fruit, kaneel en pure chocolade. In de mond proef je subtiele rook, peerzeste, vanille en kruidige tonen. De afdronk is lang, fruitig en perfect in balans. Gebotteld op 45,2% alcohol in een opvallende rode fles van 70 cl. Wereldwijd zijn slechts 28.000 flessen uitgebracht.

Highland Park Fire Edition is a limited release single malt whisky, launched in 2016 as a tribute to the fire giants of Norse mythology. This 15-year-old expression was fully matured in refill port wine casks — a first for Highland Park — giving it a natural reddish hue and a bold, distinctive character.

Expect aromas of red berries, cinnamon and dark chocolate, followed by notes of vanilla, pear zest and gentle smoke on the palate. Bottled at 45.2% ABV in a striking crimson glass decanter (70 cl), this edition was limited to 28,000 bottles worldwide.
